We just got this swim wear/rash guard outfit and decided to try it out today, I still put sunscreen on her naked body before her rash guard shirt but her shirt is 90% uva/uvb protection. It is really nice to not feel like I have to constantly apply sunscreen on her back and shoulders and it is Carter brand at Costco for $15 dollars, I would say it is definitely worth it. She also wears her hat but I always have to wait for that as you will see below, she loves the sand so I give her a few moments and then try to brush her off with a dry cloth before her hat. If it would not go into her eyes I would use the sand as an extra layer of sunscreen.

That is so darn cute! You are so lucky to live so close to the beach! She looks like the sand man in spiderman!
Alex has a similar swimming getup in green and brown, so maybe they can be twinners if we go to JP's pool, though Alex's swim outfit has knee length shorts instead of the cute "Hot pants" version Lily's wearing.
And I'm impressed that you ever get a chance to brush the sand off of her at all! Alex will roll and roll and roll around in the sand until he's completely covered, then, when I brush him off, he dives right back into it.
