Butt and Poo

On Friday or actually early Saturday morning around 2pm I heard noises outside. Nathan could sleep through a hurricane but alas he is a tired hard worker. So I ended up bravely sleeping on the futon beside Lily to keep her safe from what ever was lurking in the small ally way behind and around side the condo.... thoughts of course of a few random strange men around the area that I have seen along with a shooting 10 minutes or less up the street came to mind. So there I was alone now late Saturday night, Lily was sleeping and in the deep dark night I hear noises and scuffling again in the ally way trying not to freak out my first thought was to be prepared so I set up things in front of any open windows and close the windows in Lily's room but keep a fan on for her that yes I set in front of the window. Anything for an intruder to trip over etc. to give me more time to react. I also have the mist Febreeze spray within reach for the eyes and something sharp hidden in the side of the couch right beside me. I watch T.V. and every now and then I mute it when I hear a noise and listen very carefully. BEEP!!! Nathan is calling, I tell him what is up and he is on his way home. I say good and good bye, turn off the lights and T.V. so that if there is someone they don't have the upper hand on seeing me. Then a thought comes to my mind of something I saw the night before I left for Utah. I grab my camera go towards the back door and my flash helped me realize this,

this is skunk one but I did see two we will call them butt and poo those are stinky names. Any how I have never been so relieved to see a couple skunks before. For a minute there I was wishing that I took some self defence training from my brother in law Richard in Utah but now I have happy thoughts of butt and poo stinking away intruders for me.
